Migration is one of the defining issues of our time. How can societies maintain social trust and cohesion while remaining open and dynamic? What role do assimilation, education, labour markets, language and shared institutions play in successful integration? What are the long-term consequences when these processes succeed—or fail?

Drawing on decades of research, Professor Kaufmann will explore the relationship between migration, identity, integration and social stability.
