Students for Liberty Switzerland is pleased to invite you to a special event dedicated to one of the most fundamental questions of academic and civic life: freedom of expression.

On May 6th, 2026, we will host a talk by Simon Studer, expert auditor at KPMG, titled:

“Freedom of Expression: The Source of All Values”

In an age where public discourse is increasingly polarized and constrained, this event will explore why freedom of expression is not just one value among others, but the very foundation upon which all intellectual, social, and political values depend.

The discussion will address questions such as:

Can a society remain open without protecting dissent?
What role does free speech play within universities today?
How do limits on expression affect the production of knowledge?

After our speaker’s talk, we will have Q&A session open to all students, aimed at fostering an open, respectful, and thought-provoking dialogue.
